 A few days ago, Samsung released the Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.  And we thought it would be the latest big update for the affordable tablet.  However, it might get the Android 14-based One UI 6 update in the coming months.

 Samsung seems to be internally testing the Android 14 update for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.  A new firmware update with firmware version T225XXU4DWI4 is being tested inside the South Korean company.  The latest publicly available software version is One UI 5.1.1 and has firmware version T225XXU4CWI2.

 When you look at the firmware version being tested, the fourth alphabet from the right is D, which is newer than C in the current firmware.  This points to a major update, and since there is no new software between One UI 5.1.1 and One UI 6.0, we believe that Samsung will be testing One UI 6 based on Android 14 on the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.

 Google released the first developer preview of Android 14 earlier this year.  After a series of developer previews and public betas, the company was expected to release the stable version of Android 14 last month.  However, the release has been delayed and the stable version of Android 14 may launch tomorrow.
